ALBANY, GA -- Domestic violence was the topic at Darton College Thursday. The Liberty House hosted a panel discussion, trying to reach out to young adults.

They brought in leaders from law enforcement, the judicial system and the church. The focus was on not only domestic violence but also social networking.

“The severity of domestic violence comes in many forms. People think that because it's not physical, it's not domestic violence. We want to educate the community that the victims are becoming younger and younger. It's no longer an adult issue, it's a teen issue,” said Bummi Anderson of the Liberty House.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
