ALBANY, GA -- Kids of all ages were making their own art over at the Flint RiverQuarium for Sunday’s "Discovery Days" event.

This week's theme was "Things that make you go eww!"

Kids were given creepy facts about bugs, including the fact that cockroaches can live up to a week after their heads have been cut off!

“They're gonna learn that flies eat their own vomit and then they'll do an activity with a fly and a different kind of arts and crafts activity and then another station, they'll learn about spiders,” says Youth Activities Coordinator, Amanda Jones.

The event will be held again October 15 and is free with general admission to the aquarium.
