BBQ fundraiser brings the community together for a day of fun.
TIFTON, GA -- The “Bands, Brew, and Backyard BBQ” event featured an unlimited beer tasting, music fest, and BBQ competition at the Agrirama in Tifton.
The event featured celebrity chef Myron Mixon who is features on a TLC show called “BBQ Pitt Masters”. Mixon was giving BBQ tips and signing copies of his new book.
Event organizer Nancy Bryan says all of the proceeds will support Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Georgia. “We operate our services in Albany, Cordele, Tifton, and Valdosta. We find mentors for children that are in need of a little extra guidance and friendship and we make those matches. We depend on events like this and donations to keep going” says Bryan.
