Albany Technical College will hold a special 50th Anniversary Gala Celebration this evening, Friday, September 30, 2011, at Phoebe Towers North Ballroom. A reception will begin at 6pm with dinner and a special program following at 7pm.
ALBANY, GA --
Dr. John Culbreath will serve as Master of Ceremonies. A special “Congressional Report” will be presented by Congressman Sanford Bishop in honor of the College’s 50th Anniversary. In addition, sponsor recognition will be presented by Katrina Baranko, Albany Tech Foundation Board member, along with a special recognition of Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

A presentation will be given by a few members of the Albany Tech faculty and staff highlighting the College’s five decades of “Strong Tradition. Proven Success. Powerful Future,” also the theme for the 50th anniversary. After remarks from Dr. Anthony O. Parker, President of Albany Tech, guests will enjoy live entertainment from Bob Cummings and Reflections Band, featuring vocalist Karla Heath-Sands.
