ALBANY, GA -- In our Facebook story of the day today we asked if you think there should be nutritional regulations on what can be purchased with food stamps.

There has been an internet push by some for the government to establish restrictions against junk and fast food purchases with food stamps.

Some people we talked to say they realize obesity is a problem, but think government mandates go too far.

“Really it's up to the parent's they should be the ones who enforce it, it's not up to the food stamps or the people who give the food stamps,” said Kalonty Chaney.

“I don't really think that's too big of a deal I think there are a lot more problems in the welfare system then nutrition and obesity. If you want a bag of chips, get a bag of chips,” said Chris Harvey.
