If you haven't registered to vote in upcoming Albany elections, time is running out.
ALBANY, GA --
The last day to register to vote for the city elections being held on November 8, 2011 will be October 11th. This is also the last day to make address changes.
Citizens may obtain registration forms from any public library, public assistance agencies, or by visiting room 220 of the Goverment Center.
Voters who are unable to visit the polls on election day can get an absentee ballot via mail by submitting a written application to the Elections Office, P.O. Box 1827, Albany, Ga, 31702. For more information on submitting an electronic or fax request for an absentee ballot, visit the Secretary of State's

Early voting begins on October 17, 2011, in the government building located at 222 Pine Avenue.
