ALBANY, GA. -- Before the fall kicks into full gear, those with the need for adventure may want to take a tour of the Flint River.

Patrons of the Flint RiverQuarium hit the water for a Flint Float.

Included in the package is a canoe adventure down a five mile stretch of the river. Once back on dry land, participates enjoy a barbeque meal from the Wagner’s and entertainment from the Levee.

Organizers say the outing is not only about entertainment but it's a good way to learn about the area.

The last Flint Float for the season is scheduled for October 3rd.
