ALBANY, GA -- Families gathered for quality time at the Flint RiverQuarium’s annual Wings and Wildlife Festival.

A highlight of the day for some families was getting up close and personal with snakes, alligators and some of the birds. Some even participated in an alligator.

For those less eager to touch the wildlife, there was a Planetarium show, a mural to paint and a station to build bird feeders.

The RiverQuarium is hosting Flint Float on Sunday, letting out by the Georgia Power Plant and ending near the Marine Corps Logistics Base. Reservations for this event closed Saturday at 4 p.m.
