ALBANY, GA -- Chances are you or someone you know is unemployed.

In today's Facebook story of the day, you wanted to know how the Georgia Works program helps.

The program allows for a qualified unemployed person to train with a potential employer for up to eight weeks.

The GA Department of Labor will even provide a stipend to help offset training costs.

David Clowers has been looking for a job for over a month now and says he might give it a shot.

“It's very important for me to find something for my family and right now my wife, she's going to school and working and I want to go back to school but I'm trying to find a job also,” says Clowers.
