ALBANY, GA -- Things are rolling ahead for FlintFest 2011: checks will soon be written to pay for the event and finalize vendors and musicians. The Albany Dougherty Inner City Authority (ADICA) held a meeting where they approved the budget for the event, giving them authority to write checks.

A total of $36,250 is budgeted for income; the money is coming from sponsors, vendors, performers and the gate fee. Expenses for items, like vendors and performers, are $28,200.

A total net income of $8,050 is expected. This amount will go back into an account to be used for next year’s FlintFest.
