ALBANY, GA. -- The buyer rush to get a popular designer's fashions literally crashed Target's website!
Target displayed the Missoni collection on Tuesday and store representatives say as soon as they put the items on the shelves, shoppers packed stores to get it.
A representative for the local Target say the four racks of Missoni items placed in the "ready to wear" section dwindled down to just a few pieces here and there in just one day.
But don't fret; the store is expecting another shipment by the end of this week.
“We're expecting a shipment again this Friday with our next truck and we hope to have the shelves full again with our merchandise so that our guest can come back and get them again,” said Dion Hale, Target Senior Team Leader of Floor Sales.
Besides the Missoni clothing line, Target also carries Missoni bedding, sleep wear, accessories and shoes.
