Fate of projects depend on taxpayers vote.
ALBANY, GA. -- Lee County officials have developed more than $50 million dollars worth of projects that may help ease traffic pains.
In Tuesday’s Lee County Commission meeting members discussed projects on Ledo Road, Westover Road and Forrester Parkway.
However all of these plans won't happen unless taxpayers vote in favor of the Transportation Investment Act next year.
“First it's got to be passed by the round table September 29th in Camilla. Once it's passed by them then it will be brought before the voters next July,” said Lee County Director of Planning and Engineering Bob Alexander.
The act is also known as T-SPLOST and will affect 14 southwest Georgia counties.
