Lee County holds remembrance ceremony.

LEESBURG, GA. -- Sunday morning a bell tolled in Lee County marking the time in which Flight 11 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

During the remembrance ceremony in Leesburg city officials sent out prayers for those who were lost as families took the time to bow in silence.

“It gave us a great opportunity to say thank you to the people who serve and protect us every day,” said Lee County Commissioner Rick Muggridge.
