ALBANY, GA -- Friendship Baptist Church in Leesburg held a special presentation honoring first responders Sunday.

Lee County EMS, Lee County Fire Department, Leesburg Police and Sheriff Reggie Rachals and others from his office were there.

Color guard presented the flags and the congregation watched a video and sound montage from the news coverage of that day.

“It's a brotherhood. It's a brotherhood and a sisterhood. And even though it's not right here at home, it touches your heart,” said Capt. Keith Houston of the ordeal.
