Police find missing woman dead Thursday morning

ALBANY, GA -- Around 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning, the Albany Police Department was called to 430 West Tift Avenue for a deceased person.

Upon arrival investigators discovered 43-year-old Sharon Dawn Haim.  Police officials say on Monday September 5th her husband filed a missing persons report that stated she went missing on Sunday September 4, 2011.

Investigators say at this time foul play is not suspected, although they don’t know the cause of death at this time.

Haim’s body will be sent to the GBI Crime Lab in Macon for an autopsy.
