ALBANY, GA -- Cancer Ties, Inc. will hold their 5th annual benefit on Thursday, September 15th at 6:00pm at Doublegate Country Club. The event will include a silent and live auction; live, opening music provided by Highway 55, J.T.’s Yo Yo’s followed by headliner, Kinchafoonee Cowboys. Tickets are $20.00 in advance and $25 at the door and are available at the following retailers: Southern Elegance of Georgia, Verge, Blush, Dr. Wren Chiropractic, and Envy. Complementary heavy hors d’ oeuvres and a cash bar will be provided.
This year’s recipient is Albany resident and young mother of 4. Hayley Champion Tennyson, who is currently battling cervical, uterine and ovarian cancer. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be given to her to assist with expenses incurred throughout her diagnosis and treatment.
