343 firefighters died as a result of the September 11th attacks.

JESSICA FAIRLEY -- The Albany Fire Department has set up a tribute to honor those firefighters who lost their lives in the wake of the world trade center attacks.

On Tuesday firemen set up 343 crosses at Firehouse No. 1 on the corner of Jackson and Roosevelt Street in downtown Albany.

Each cross in the display represents one fire fighter who died as a result of the September 11th attacks.

The tribute will be set up through Sunday which is the 10 year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
