LEE COUNTY, GA -- One man is in custody and another on the loose after a chase began in Terrell County and ended in Lee County Tuesday afternoon.

Lee County Sheriff Reggie Rachals tells Fox 31 News that he first got word of the chase around noon.

Officers began chasing two black males in a Cadillac DeVille, when their chase led to the 200 block of Martindale Road in Lee County.

The car hit a mailbox, turning it sideways.

The two men inside fled the vehicle while it was still moving.

Police arrested one man, and they say the other is on the loose.

Sheriff Rachals was not able to give names when he talked with us, but says the second man is wearing tan shorts and a white shirt.

The reason for the chase is not yet know, but the Albany Drug Unit was on the scene.
