ALBANY, GA. -- Update: The Albany Police Department has released the name of the victim in the homicide that occurred at 911 East Oglethorpe Boulevard.
DeAndre Williams, 25, sustained two gunshot wounds which claimed his life.
Police have recovered his missing 2002 Cadillac Escalade that was stolen after the shooting.
An APD Nixle alert went out Sunday morning with a photo and description of the vehicle. Around 11:19 a.m., a resident that received the alert by phone, spotted the vehicle parked on the side of the road at 8 mile and Dyson and called authorities.

Original Story: A 25-year-old male was found shot to death in the Sandtrap parking lot at 911 East Oglethorpe Blvd.
Albany Police arrived at the scene around 3:05 a.m. in reference to a call concerning a shooting and dead person. They found a 25-year-old black male shot twice in the chest and stomach.
Authorities reveal that the victim had an argument with the suspects before they shot him. The men then fled the scene in the victim's Cadillac Escalade, leaving the male to die in the parking lot of the Sandtrap Club.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating the getaway vehicle. It is described as a 2002 burgundy Cadillac Escalade with 26 inch rims. The tag number on the truck is WX2Y08. The vehicle has a “For Sale” sign in the back side windows.
