Georgia State Patrol arrested the assistant to the Meigs Mayor for driving under the influence
MITCHELL COUNTY, GA -- Georgia State Patrol officers arrested the assistant to the Meigs Mayor for driving under the influence.
According to the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office, Ernest Barfield – also the city’s Marketing and Economic Development Coordinator – was weaving when he was pulled over and later arrested.
Barfield is charged with DUI, Failure to Drive Within a Single Lane and a seatbelt violation.
