ALBANY, GA -- City Commissioner Roger Marietta has announced he will run again for commissioner of Ward IV.

Under Marietta's watch, Ward IV has grown to include 13 neighborhood watches.

He believes in better customer service and says input from the citizens is the key to making this city even better.

“I think that people want to be involved. We've got a lot of communities and they're great and I think we need to encourage them, but we also need the average citizen who has ideas to write them down. If they write it down and send it to me, I'll send it to the person who is responsible for it and make sure it's heard,” says Marietta.

Job creation is also on his list.

Marietta wishes to sit down with community leaders and Lee County officials and chat about how to attract and retain industries.
