ALBANY, GA -- Governor Nathan Deal announced last week that he wants all internet cafe's and internet sweepstakes stores shut down.

This falls in line with the city's moratorium on all new business licenses for internet cafes.

Albany has four such locations.

City attorney Nathan Davis says big changes may be in store.

“From that memo, it's encouraging the law enforcement community to be aggressive so if i was the operator of one of those businesses, i would be very concerned after seeing the news release,” said Davis.

The Georgia legislature will meet again in the early months of 2012.

Davis says it's possible they may pass a law shutting down those type businesses.
