ALBANY, GA -- Albany fire officials are investigating an electrical fire that broke out early Saturday morning.

The fire, at 1202 Stevens Lane, started about 4:00 a.m. burning the home's roof and garage.

"Right now we're going to do a secondary investigation with our fire investigator. but right now it looks like it was electrical in nature," said Allen Cravey, the assistant fire chief. "It looks like it started around the fuse panel box."

The home's occupants were inside when the fire started, but they were able to get out in time to avoid injury.
