On Friday, August 5, 2011, agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearm and Explosives (ATF), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Pataula Drug Task Force (PDTF), Albany Dougherty Drug Unit (ADDU), the Albany Gang Task Force (AGTF), and the United States Marshal Service (USMS) served multiple search warrants and arrested four during the operation in the Albany, Dougherty County area.
ALBANY, GA -- The searches were part of a federal and state drug investigation into a cocaine trafficking organization operating in Albany, Georgia. Search warrants were executed simultaniously at 3613 Plumcrest Drive, 2583 Crescent Avenue, 102 Adams Street, 1513 Cordell Avenue, and 529 Cochran Avenue.  Agents seized cocaine,  guns and US Currency during the searches.
   
Four suspects were also arrested and charged with drug tafficking offenses. Demetrius Perez George, 25, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.  Nineteen year old Lamarcus Derryl Salters, 35 year old, Roderic Trylenny Bodiford and Jeff Bernard Cauley, 25, were arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.  With the exception of Bodiford, who has a Camilla address, George, Salters, and Cauley have Albany addresses.  All were booked into the Dougherty County jail. 

A criminal arrest warrant was also issued for Roderic Wayne Evans of Albany, charging Evans with trafficking in cocaine. Evans' last known address is 1513 Cordell Avenue, Albany. Evans is described as a 39 year old black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and 230 pounds.  Anyone having information regarding the whereabouts of Roderic Wayne Evans is asked to contact GBI Sylvester Field Office at (229) 777-2080, or your local police.
