APD arrest a third person for murder of Jerome Walden

ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Police Department made a third arrest in the Jerome Walden murder case.

Police arrested 29-year-old Calvin Brooks.  Officials say Brooks was directly involved with the beating death of Jerome Walden. 

Police say Brooks turned himself in at the police department at 2:15 p.m. where he was immediately interviewed by detectives and then taken to the Dougherty County Jail.  Brooks is charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery.

The case is still under investigation because police recently discovered that a fourth suspect was involved in the beating.
