ALBANY, GA. -- Albany Police are on the hunt for an armed robber who held up a convenience store located at 1800 Oglethorpe Blvd.
Around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday police say a black male entered the Chevron Food Mart and demanded cash as he held a gun to the clerk's head.
After she complied, the suspect then jumped behind the counter and took extra cash stashed away in a box. He then fled the scene.
Authorities say the dark skinned male was wearing a white t-shirt and dark jeans.
This case is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Albany Police Department.
