ALBANY, GA. -- As the Dougherty County School System's CRCT investigation moves forward, local officials headed to Atlanta to meet with investigators.

School Board Superintendent Dr. Joshua Murfree and the Dougherty County School System's Attorney Tommy Coleman met with former Georgia Attorney General Mike Bowers in Atlanta.

Coleman says the meeting was scheduled to give both sides a chance express their goals for the investigation and get to the bottom of what happened. He says the meeting was cordial and that Dr. Murfree has agreed to complete cooperation.

The probe is expected to last for about a month, but officials say the length of the investigation truly depends on what information is found.
