ALBANY, GA. -- For FOX 31's feel good story for Thursday, a teenager has overcome scoliosis and now she is using her story to help others.

Brittany Cameron is receiving the highest Girl Scout award for a documentary about scoliosis that she filmed with the help of her friend.

She chronicled every step of her healing process, from wearing a body brace to having surgery to correct the problem.

She says it was a long journey but now she's feeling better.

The documentary will be used in doctors’ offices to help other scoliosis patients cope before having surgery.
