ALBANY, GA -- Police responded shortly after midnight on Sunday to an armed robbery on N. VanBuren.

According to the police report, officers responded in reference to an armed robbery in the 1500 block of N. Van Buren at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. Various items were stolen including clothes, a purse and all of its contents, cell phones, DVDs and a gaming system.

The victim, Jatarvious Hall, told police two unknown black males armed with handguns, knocked on her door and when she answered, the two rushed inside. Hall told police once the men were inside, they ransacked her home and then fled the scene.

The case has been turned over to investigation.

A resident of the apartment says he is not pressing any charges.
