Georgia's Department of Transportation held a public hearing for people to voice concerns over the proposed Leesburg bypass.
ALBANY, GA. -- Lee county citizens had the chance to weigh-in on the proposed Leesburg North Bypass on Tuesday.
The Georgia Department of Transportation held a public meeting in the county's governmental building for people to see the project's updated changes and voice their concerns.
Officials at the hearing say the majority of the comments were positive. They say all input will be taken into consideration.
“We will entertain the comments that people make and will respond to all the comments but the plan is really looking good as it's going now and the responses have been good,” said Georgia Department of Transportation Project Manager Douglas Fadool.
