Updated with video; Take a peek into the Information Ticket and Tours Office

ALBANY, GA -- The Information Ticket and Tours Office is an area where marines, retirees, and Department of Defense employees can come in and plan an amazing vacation get away.

ITT Manager Sue Truver says the office sees everything from a single marine looking for discount race tickets at Daytona or Talladega to families who want to take a trip to Disney World.  “Right now Disney is offering a 4-day trip for $138 per person over age 3, and we can also help with hotel accommodations and meal plans if the family wishes.  Either way that’s a steal compared to the regular gate prices” says Truver.

It doesn't matter if you’re interested in the Kennedy Space Center or Ruby Falls in Chattanooga - the ITT office will find a way to make the trip cheaper.  “All they have to do is come in, and we’ll plan out a trip on the budget they have.  Tell us what destination you’re looking at and we’ll sit down and say okay these are the attraction tickets we have, these are the hotel accommodations we have and work out what’s going to be at your advantage” says Truver.

Out of the numerous discounts they offer at dozens of different theme parks the most popular attraction is close to home - Wild Adventures which is a 90-minute drive away in Valdosta.  The office says that trip is probably the most popular because it offers a theme park, a water park, and it’s possible to go there and return within one day.

However if someone wants to travel far away on a trip – that’s not a problem because there are ITT offices at every base.  So if someone wants a destination trip with an attraction the office will call the closest ITT office to see what discounts they are able to secure and if possible they’ll send over tickets from anything from Walt Disney Land in Los Angeles to attractions in New York.

The ITT offices exist as a thank you and to help enhance the quality of life for those who have served, are serving, or support the nation’s defense system.
