Bees found in Albany could be Africanized breed.

ALBANY, GA. -- Officials say the bees found on the corner of Madison and Flint Avenue in Albany has been turned in to the department of agriculture.

They believe there's a possibility that these could be of the Africanized breed.

The Department of Agriculture is in the process of shipping samples of the specimens to other organizations for testing.

Lee County officials say the results will be released to the public.
