DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA -- Dougherty county commissioner John Hayes is holding a listening session for county citizens. This listening listen is for citizens to have a chance to see how the county government works and to ask questions.

“We do this because so many of our citizens never get the opportunity to really have any real contact with government. They're either at working during the day and we believe they deserve that opportunity,” said Hayes.

The session is planned for 6 PM Tuesday night at Eureka Baptist Church on Lily Pond Road.
