Today the Phoebe Hospital Board voted to approve the tax return for August of 2009 through July of 2010
ALBANY, GA -- Most people submit their taxes done by April 15th, but it’s a different story when you're talking about non-for-profits.
The hospital is required to submit a 990 form and the deadline to get it to the IRS is this week.
Today the Phoebe Hospital Board voted to approve the tax return for August of 2009 through July of 2010.
“It also goes into great detail about community benefit and how much expense Phoebe goes through to provide to our local community free of cost,” said Financial Board member Mark Lane.
According to the form Phoebe has total assets valuing nearly $590 million and made about $23.5 million during the year.
