The Carlton Breast Health Center moved into a 10,000 square foot space, putting everything patients need under one roof

ALBANY, GA -- Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital unveiled the new location of their Carlton Breast Health Center in Medical Tower II of the hospital’s main campus.

The fourth floor location puts everything under one roof, hospital employees say: diagnostics, offices and services are in the same are offering “one-stop shopping” for patients.

“A mammogram is not everybody’s favorite thing to have, and we want people to come back every year so we try to give them a nice environment to come in, great techs to work with and the best equipment possible,” says Manager Linda Whitten.

The center offers digital mammography, breast ultrasound, vacuum-assisted stereotactic and ultrasound core biopsies as well as DEXA scans for osteoporosis.

The Carlton Breast Health Center moved from a 2,000 square foot space to a 10,000 square foot space.
