Updated with video; New L.E.D lights put into position.

ALBANY, GA. -- Visitors to Downtown Albany may notice that the lights on the arch in downtown Albany seem to shine a little brighter.

That’s because on Sunday morning city workers began replacing the weathered L.E.D lights with new ones.

Officials said that over time the forces of nature had turned the lights dull.

They’re hoping the new ones better illuminates the bridge.
