HeritageBank of the South awards scholarships
HeritageBank of the South is proud to announce John Matthew Jones and Kyle MacArthur Wingfield as winners of the HBOS College Scholarship.
Employee/Family Scholarship winner, Matt Jones, is the son of John and Susie Jones and a 2010 graduate of Deerfield Windsor School. He currently attends Valdosta State University, where he is a biology major.
Southwest Region Scholarship winner, Kyle Wingfield, is the son of Neil and Shelley Wingfield and a 2011 graduate of Lee County High School. He will be attending The University of Georgia this fall.
HeritageBank awarded seven $500 scholarships to students across the regions it serves. The scholarship was open to high school seniors, as well as, full time students already attending an accredited college or university.
Winners were selected based on academic accomplishments, extracurricular activities, community involvement and an essay question.
