Eleanor Banks' painting 'If walls could talk' took home prize.

ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Museum of Art held it's 18th Annual Shades of Gold Art show on Thursday, June 2, 2011.

The event was sponsored by the Sowega Council on Aging.

Visitors viewed painting with names ranging from 'Boys at the Beach' to 'Billy the Bass'.

Eleanor Banks' painting 'If walls could talk' took home awards for best in show and people's choice. She said she was only the third person to win both titles in the history of the art show.

She said after the event, she plans to mount the painting on her wall at home.
