ALBANY, GA -- An Albany funeral home was hit by vandals Monday morning and police are still trying to put together the pieces.

It happened at Poteat Funeral Home on Cedar Avenue around 4:00 a.m. Monday.

Two hearses had been spray painted with gang graffiti and one of them was on fire.

Funeral Director James Griffin says he just can't believe it.

“Last thing you expect. On the other hand, when you see people breaking into churches and places of worship, so it doesn't surprise me anymore,” said Griffin.

The case is still under investigation.
