ALBANY, GA -- It was a big day for Troy University graduates!

They held their ceremony at Mount Zion Baptist Church Saturday morning.

Mayor Pro Tem Roger Marietta gave the commencement address, imparting words of advice that were passed down from his father.

“The four things he always focused on were self-discipline, attention to detail and thinking positive. And he also had a little saying, it was the fourth thing, that when the going gets tough, the tough get going,” said Marietta.

In total, 54 students graduated in Saturday morning's ceremony.
