The local chapter of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals concludes their "Change Bandit" campaign
As of Friday evening, Children's Miracle Network received more than $2,500 from "Change Bandits" participants
ALBANY, GA -- After running around as “bandits,” local individuals and businesses turned in their loot to a good cause.
“Change Bandits” was a fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to help build up anticipation for their Radiothon from Thursday, June 2 until Friday, June 3. “Change Bandits” concluded Friday evening with a celebration at Austin’s BBQ featuring food and live music.
“Whether they raised two dollars, fifty cents or five hundred dollars, it's absolutely amazing to see what everyone has done out here and 100 percent of it stays local, so they're helping our local kids. It's just absolutely amazing what everyone's done,” says Amanda Smith with the Children’s Miracle Network.
As of this time, the organization has collected more than $2,500 dollars from the “Change Bandits” campaign.
The winner of a free three-night trip to Orlando for collecting the most money will be announced at a later time.
