What are the signs to spot a compulsive liar?
ALBANY, GA -- What are the signs to spot a compulsive liar? That was the question you wanted answered in our Facebook Story of the Day
We spoke to psychologist Dr. Nick Carden at the Renaissance Centre about compulsive liars.
He says the biggest give away of any liar is their body language.
“Shifty eyes, shifty postures they'll engage in unusual mannerisms when they get uncomfortable about something or when they are engaging in that compulsive behavior and that may be sort of a sign or a signal that a trained professional can look at,” said Carden.
He also says compulsive lying is like an addiction. Often times the people doing it don't stand anything to gain by lying, but they simply get a thrill out of it.
