Dorough put in an open records request to the Dougherty County attorney
DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA -- Attorney Bo Dorough has sent an open records request to the county for Phoebe Putney's financial documents.
Dougherty County Attorney Spencer Lee read the request to the commission Monday that seeks financial records of the hospital authority.
Lee said he'd have to contact the hospital authority's attorney- Jay Reynolds- for assistance.
“At a cursory glance it appears that we didn't receive that exact information. I think the county received some audited statements from them from time to time but we didn't receive that information,” said Lee.
Dorough is also seeking the hospital's budget information dating back to 2005.
