KENNEDY SPACE CENTER -- In our Facebook Story of the Day, you wanted to know more about today's cancelled space shuttle Endeavour launch.

It was supposed to be the final mission for Endeavour, but today’s launch was scrubbed.

Concerns with the shuttle's heating system forced NASA to call off the launch. It would've been the last in the shuttle's 19 year history.

“NASA only has five space shuttles so it's a fifth of the program, that's pretty huge. It's been going on for years. I know with this particular mission they will be bringing more supplies to the international space station; more instruments, spare parts, stuff like that. It's supposed to be like a two week long mission,” said Allison Young of the Wetherbee Planetarium in Albany.

NASA says they hope to try again on Monday.
