ALBANY, GA -- The Phoebe Putney Board of Directors voted to amend a resolution dealing with the purchase of Palmyra Medical Center.

This resolution is in regards to the $100 million dollar loan from Bank of America that was planned to purchase Palmyra.

It previously stipulated that the money was to be used specifically for the purchase.

With this amendment the hospital board says they're less limited on spending not necessarily associated with the Palmyra project.

On Thursday a federal judge granted a request to the Georgia Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission to block the hospital acquisition.
