The very first K-9 Unit from the Baker County Sheriff's Office assisted in the seizure
BAKER COUNTY, GA -- The Baker County Sheriff’s office arrests five people on drug related charges.
The Sheriff’s department says they found approximately $1,200 worth of crack cocaine and marijuana in a Baker County residence after serving a search warrant after 5 a.m. on Monday.
Katrina Kimbrel, 27, and Keantra Anderson, 30, are charged with Possession of Cocaine and Intent to Distribute. Antonio Walters, Jr., 17, is charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute. Jerry Hawkins, 52, and Willie King, 48, are charged with Possession of Marijuana.
An investigator who helped in the case says the Sheriff's Office's first ever K-9 unit, a dog named Ace, helped with this drug bust along with another seizure one month ago. The investigator says the dog is essential to drug related searches.
