ALBANY, GA -- An investigation has been launched after an inmate was found dead at the Tift County Jail.
35-year-old Armando Muniz died Friday from an apparent neck injury.
Three suicide notes were found in his cell. GBI Investigators do not suspect foul play, but are awaiting autopsy results before making a definite ruling.
Muniz had been in jail since February 20 on charges of selling cocaine and marijuana.
