The new ordinance would require KADB to clean up graffiti after 5 days
ALBANY, GA -- The city commission has tentatively approved a new graffiti ordinance that would help get rid of graffiti quicker.
Keep Albany Dougherty Beautiful will now have five days to clean up graffiti found in the area.
The old ordinance gave them 30 days to clean up.
Also, they found a state law that prohibits them from charging the property owner for the removal of graffiti.
The new ordinance will be officially adopted at their night meeting April 26th.
