Willie Gipson allegedly murdered in 2002
ALBANY, GA. -- Two suspects in a nine-year-old Albany murder case were indicted today by a Dougherty County grand jury.
26–year-old Toledo Antorn Love and 28-year-old Anthony Terrell Richardson are each charged with felony murder and armed robbery in the death of 32-year-old Willie Gipson.
Gipson was found beaten to death inside his home in November of 2002.
Toledo Love was arrested early this morning.
Anthony Richardson was arrested by deputies with the worth County Sheriff's Dept.
Richardson was actually arrested back in 2002 in connection to Gipson’s death but was never charged.
"The new evidence that we have puts together a lot of issues that we just couldn’t string together with what we had at the time," said Dougherty County D.A. Greg Edwards.
Investigators say Gipson was once Richardson’s supervisor at an Albany Wendy’s restaurant.
