Two classes were offered at the YMCA Saturday

ALBANY, GA -- The YMCA partnered with U-Save It pharmacy and held a couple heart healthy classes Saturday.

The first talked about how to manage your diabetes in today's world.

The second was on how to eat healthy--pointing out things like calorie intake and sugar levels in our food.

“These classes are great because it can help you develop support groups. Your peers, who have the same issues you have and it's a wealth of information from somebody who is very knowledgeable about the subjects,” Said Tommy Sharpe, who is with U-Save It’s marketing department.

Stephanie Sceals led the classes.

She has been a pharmacist with U-Save It pharmacy for six years.
